Groundskeeper
General Responsibility - The Groundskeeper has five major areas of responsibility:

Site improvement (special projects to improve camp property)
-
General maintenance and operations (including but not limited to pool maintenance, waste management, lawn maintenance, building repairs, etc.)

Communication and reporting to the Program Manager
-
Tracking expenses relating directly to maintenance and operation of camp systems
-
Live on site during the camp season with room and board provided.
Qualifications:
-
Mature person or couple with strong Christian beliefs and practices.
-
Self-starter with a basic knowledge & skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanics and general maintenance repairs.
-
Ability to get along well with people; children, youth and adults.
-
Must possess a valid drivers’ license, and be capable of operating a range of equipment.
-
Other current certifications seen as advantageous include: WHMIS, First Aid training, Drinking Water Certification, and Pool Operators Course.

Camp Counselors
General Responsibility:
-
Directly supervise a cabin group in all camp activities so that each camper has an enjoyable camping experience
-
Lead and guide each camper in the cabin group
-
Maintain discipline within the cabin group and seek help from the Program Manager as necessary
-
Create a Spirit-focused environment for your campers
Qualifications:
-
Displays New Testament Christianity in everyday life
-
Should be at least 16 years old
-
Willing to take on the responsibility of caring for the physical and emotional needs of campers in their cabin group
-
Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive attitude
-
Able to get along well with people; children, youth and adults
-
Be able to produce a Vulnerable Sectors Check (if over the age of 18)
Openings:

Junior Weeks Counsellor - for Day Campers Aged 7 - 13 and Overnight Campers Aged 8 - 10
-
Senior Weeks Counsellor - for Family Week Campers Aged 6 - 13 and Overnight Campers Aged 11 - 13
NOTE: Day camp counsellors will be expected to stay at camp overnight through the week.
