Camp Counsellors

  • Counselling Block 1 (July 6 - July 25, 2026) Day Campers Aged 7 - 13 and Overnight Campers Aged 8 - 10 

    • Help facilitate an enjoyable and positive camping experience 

    • Directly supervise a cabin group in all camp activities 

    • Create a faith-focused environment for campers

  • Counselling Block 2 (Aug 2 - Aug 15, 2026) Family Week Campers Aged 6 - 13 and Overnight Campers Aged 11 - 13

    • Directly supervise a cabin group in all camp activities 

    • Help facilitate an enjoyable and positive camping experience 

    • Create a faith-focused environment for campers

  • Counselling Block 3 (Aug 9 - 15, 2026) Overnight Campers Aged 11 - 13

    • Directly supervise a cabin group in all camp activities

  • Supervise and manage all full time staff

  • Work in cooperation with Weekly Program Directors to support them with their weekly theme and programming

  • Required certification: Hold a current Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Service Award (NLS)

  • Facilitate camper and family communications on an ongoing basis

  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality concerning camper/volunteer records

  • Ensure that the camp’s grounds are clean and properly maintained

  • Complete daily and weekly tasks as assigned by the program manager

  • Plan for and prepare weekly menus for campers, paid staff, volunteers and visitors

  • Manage and supervise all volunteers in the kitchen
