Show me your ways, O LORD,

teach me your paths:

guide me in your truth and teach me,

for you are God my Saviour,

and my hope is in you

all day long.

Psalm 25:4,5

Our facilities are located in Milton, Ontario on land that was donated to the camp by the Johnstone family.  We invite you to scroll down for a tour of our facilities.

Johnstone Hall

Named after the family that started Omagh Bible School in the 1930's, this building was built in the spring of 1997. Located in this building are the dining hall, kitchen and craft room.

The dining hall serves more than one purpose as the tables can easily be folded and placed in a storage room. The hall is often used for activities (i.e. floor hockey, basketball) and indoor campfires (around the fireplace) when the weather does not cooperate.

The kitchen has everything that is required to prepare meals for up to eighty hungry campers plus the staff. This includes a walk-in fridge and freezer, gas stove, and triple sink. Many cooks can be heard singing their favourite hymns while preparing the next meal.

The craft room is always buzzing with activity during craft time. Under the supervision of the weekly Craft Director, the campers make everything from friendship bracelets to Bible covers.

Office/Washroom Building

This building serves many purposes for camp. First, it is where the office is located. This is where visitors can sign in and where all campers must sign-out before leaving camp. The building is also where the boys and girls washrooms are located. The washrooms are equipped with running water which includes showers. Lastly, this is where all the campers run to when the bell rings at Tuck time.

McKerlie House

The upstairs section of this building is where the staff stay during the week. There is also a common area for staff to relax and visit after an enjoyable day of interacting with the campers. In the basement, named Joy Hall, there are three classrooms and a shuffleboard area. The McKerlie House was named after Mr. Jardine McKerlie in 1949 in recognition of his years of service to camp.

Camper Cabins

There are a set of five cabins in each of the boys and girls areas. Each cabin can accommodate up to nine campers and one counsellor. Over the past few years, almost all of the metal bunk beds have been replaced by longer lasting, durable wooden bunks.

Chapel

Every morning campers gather at the chapel area to worship together with prayer and singing.  What a way to start the day!

Swimming Pool

Located directly behind the office building, our pool provides refreshing relief from the hot summer sun.  Qualified lifeguards supervise all swim periods.

Center Court Area

In this area we have tetherball courts, a playground area, a foursquare court, swings, and teeter-totters.

The most recent addition to the center court area is the beautiful new gazebo. It is a great place to sit and visit with new and old friends alike.

Activity Areas

Campers at Camp Omagh are always encouraged to join in all the activities that are planned each week. Many of these occur in our activity areas, which include: a baseball field, volley ball court, 9-hole miniature golf course, cable-ride, soccer field, and archery area.

Campfire

No camp would be complete without a campfire.  Our campfire is nestled in the protective cover of the surrounding trees to provide an intimate atmosphere for praising the Lord in song.
